LTC Pick for July: Camsur Watersports Complex

We would like to acknowledge Jerome de Jesus (aka JDJ) for providing us with this wonderful Feature Blog. All photos in this article were taken personally by him.

CamSur Watersports Complex also known more as CWC, is considered as the best wakeboarding site in the Philippines. Located in the capital of Camarines Sur, Bicol, it attracts tourist and travellers to different kinds of water sports the whole day. In line with the numerous activities, there are restaurants, spa, pool, and sports facilities that can be found inside the complex.

Our second time trip there was awesome. We are beginners in this sport and it's not that hard to be standing on the board in just few tries :p

Here are some pics to share. These were taken on an early morning.

One of the wakeboarders

The Amateur's Park (forgot the name of the park, Winch Park is for beginners)

Wood Cabins. P2200 rate for 2 persons but can accommodate up to 6!

Villas (free use of pool)

Start of the line for wakeboarding

Mt. Isarog view from the park

Cabanas. P1200 rate for 2 persons but can accommodate up to 4

This is a very fun and exhilarating watersport, quite hard at first but once you get it, it’s a total breeze. I wiped out like five times before I got the concept on how to manage weight distribution and balance to stay afloat while being pulled.

@CagayanDeOro: I haven't actually tried wakeboarding, but it seems hard to adjust a first. I'm looking forward to try also. What do you think is the best place to learn wakeboarding?

for those residing in Manila, the closest to try and practice is in Lago De Oro Batangas and am not sure if the one in nuvali laguna is already open
