It has been a habit for us and our friends to have a vacation outside the country every year, to leave the work behind to de-stress and enjoy what the world has to offer. This 2011, we are very excited to spend our days in Kota Kinabalu and Singapore.
The whole itineray was created by ourselves, based on the places we wanted to explore. We arranged a local tour for Kota Kinabalu, particularly for teh Kiulu Rafting Tour and Poring Hot Spring, since we thought that it would be better than to arrange transportations of our own. But for the Tunku Abdul Raman Marine Park, we decided to do it on our own.
For Singapore, we will be travelling the whole trip on our own.
Estimated budget for the whole trip is 40,000 pesos for 8 days. This amount includes all airfares, accomodations, tours and entrance fees, transportation fees, and basic food.

thanks for sharing this! these are really helpful especially for those people who are still figuring out what to do in these places. at least we get to have an idea on the things that we might do.
haven't been to Singapore as I know it's a bit expensive. hehe
i never knew marami palang pupuntahan sa kota kinabalu.. thanks for sharing! already bookmarked! :)
@ed: we try to plan for budget trips, but not to the extent of living in dirty and unsafe hotels. Our style is to plan ahead, like more than 6 months before, so that we already know the particular dates to fly. We wait for promo tickets in different airline to save on airfare. Then we don't get any travel tours Philippine travel agents. We find local tours, if needed, then we coordinate with them directly. We can try doing that.
@adventurousfeet: nung una gsto lang nmin ay un water rafting, then upon research, nalaman nmin may iba pa palang magandang places sa kota. we'll let you know kung ba tlaga un mga places dun pag makabalik na kmi from our trip.
when you're in Singapore, stay around Little India. Loved my hostel stay there! You could all fit in one dorm room so that should be fun!!! Enjoy KK and Singapore. Don't drink too much Tiger beer in Singapore, you'll lose all your money! he he
The islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman are so lovely! Safe trip :)
@Pinoy Boy Journals: Thanks for the tip =) too bad we already booked our hotel in Balestier Value Hotel. We should have posted this earlier. Yes, I hope we enjoy it also.
@Pinay Travel Junkie: yeah, we are going there, in Manukan Island. I made some reaearch and asked the locals. They told me that Manukan Island is the best there. Thanks for the safe wish =)
