Boracay: Fish Bar

If you're a fan of Fish & Co. here in Manila, you'll like FishBar in Boracay.

Located at D'Mall which is a mecca for different bars and restos, most of which can only be found in Boracay, FishBar attracts vacationers with its cool blue, white and green interiors. Oh, and the food's pretty tasty too.

Light and beach-y ambiance

Itinerary: Cebu-Bohol

Our recent 3 days 2 night trip to Cebu and Bohol was very tiring, though it was really fun to see places that we once just saw in TV, but now in reality.

Cebu is one of the well known provinces in the Philippines, having a lot of small islands which include Mactan, Bantayan, Malapascua, Olango, and Camotes Island.  Some of its famous destinations are Basilica Minore del Santo Nino, Fort San Pedro, Lapu Lapu Shrine, Magellan's Cross, Magellan's Shrine, and the Taoist Temple.  Cebu is also known for its Sinulog Festival and Mantawi Festival.

Bohol, an island province just located in the east of Cebu, is known for its Chocolate Hills - which as formed through numerous limestones, Panglao Island - famous as a diving location and listed as one of the top ten diving spots in the world, Philippine Tarsier - considered as the second smallest primate in the world.

*special thanks to Noneth for arranging the itinerary.

Boracay: Off-Season Perks

Ah Boracay, arguably the most famous beach destination in the Philippines. Well-known for its fine white sand and clear blue waters and of course, its party scene. There are plenty of things to do in Boracay from water sports (windsurfing, banana boat, fly fish, para sailing), shopping for souvenirs, getting a massage by the beach, eating out, partying or (my personal favorite) simply enjoying the beautiful beach scenery with a Jonah's fruit shake and chilling out to your choice of beach music.
